Boise Hoopla!
Lynn Knickrehm-Fisher is the founder of Boise Hoopla and she is a Licensed HoopGirl teacher. She is also the other half of the duo-performance group, the d-LIGHTS. She has performed for several bands including Bovalexia, West of Eerie, Fluffer 'n' Hummer, and Farmdog. Lynn also performs at birthday parties, she teaches hoop classes at the Boise Racquet and Swim Club, and has done volunteer hooping classes at a the Boise Family YMCA, and at a local shelter for runaway/at risk teenage girls. She is dedicated to bringing positive expression through the Hoop.
Hooping is a form of meditation, of self-expression, and most importantly, a fantastic way to exercise while having fun! Modern hoops are quite different than the flimsy and light weight hoops that you may remember as a child. These beautifully decorated hoops are larger and heavier, and they spin slower, which makes them easy to use. The key is to find a hoop that fits you and your personality. Happy hooping!
